Trias by Joaquín Trías showed their F/W 2010 collection at the Mercedes Benz tents at Bryant Park, during NYFW. The collection was dubbed "Vertical Strength", which focused on vertical lines. a clean colour palette, and inspired by nature. The collection was filled with an assortment of pleats and ombre tights, but it's the more tailored pieces that caught our eye and saved the collection from being overly thematic.
Mackage's Fall/Winter 2010 collection by designers Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy was filled with sexy dresses, edgy separates, and sharply tailored jackets and coats, with the smooth leather pieces being the cherry topper.
Last season Project Runway winner, Irina Shabayeva presented a mix of feathers, textures, with a nice mix of amazing coats in leather, fur, and wool. There were also some nice separates that had a rock vibe to them. If all the feathers were edited out this would've been one of our favourite collections.
Twinkle is Wenlan Chia's young and chic label. The Fall 2010 collection was filled with chunky knit dresses that we liked. Great looks for both on and off the runway.
